Teachers’ Day 2026 Celebrations at St. Anthony’s High School

St. Anthony’s High School came alive with joy, reverence, and vibrant energy on Friday, September 4th, 2026, as students and staff gathered for an early Teachers’ Day celebration ahead of the weekend. 

The festivities kicked off on a distinguished note, with the Student Council welcoming teachers with customized badges and mementos honoring their dedication. A solemn prayer service followed, where the school choir set a reflective, uplifting tone with a soulful rendition of the hymn "Make God Your Guru".

To seek spiritual guidance and blessings for our educators, the teaching faculty then gathered for a special Eucharistic Celebration. Meanwhile, the school campus vibrated with warmth—classrooms and the staffroom were adorned with hand-crafted decorations, heartfelt messages, and inspirational quotes dedicated to our staff.

The second half of the morning was packed with student-led entertainment. From a dramatic skit and high-energy dance routines to soulful musical performances, students showcased their talents in honor of their mentors. Teachers actively joined in the fun, competing in cheerful spot-prize games that filled the hall with laughter.

The celebration reached a crescendo thanks to the active involvement of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Following the students' party, PTA members hosted a lively session filled with interactive games and music that got the teachers on their feet. The event concluded with a sumptuous lunch arranged by the PTA, providing a perfect backdrop for fellowship, unity, and well-deserved relaxation.

Expressing their heartfelt appreciation, the teaching staff extended special thanks to the Student Council, led by Head Girl Sheza Gazdar, for organizing such an amazing and memorable program. In turn, the Principal commended the PTA members for their selfless service and dedicated efforts in making the day truly magnificent.

As the day came to a close, the hearts of both students and staff were full. Teachers’ Day 2026 was not just a festive event, but a powerful tribute to the guiding lights of St. Anthony’s High School, leaving everyone inspired by the deep bond shared between our teachers, students, and parents.
