Prabhat Pheri – Celebrating Patriotism, Unity and Diversity

On 14th August 2026, St. Anthony’s High School organised a vibrant Prabhat Pheri as part of its Independence Day celebrations. Despite the rain, our students participated with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The procession was led by the school band, followed by students carrying colourful patriotic placards and waving the National Flag. Our primary students added a special touch by dressing as freedom fighters, national leaders, and in traditional attire representing different states and religions, beautifully showcasing Unity in Diversity and Religious Harmony.

The procession was led by our Principal, Sr. Suman Menezes, along with the teachers. Our PTA and Ex-PTA members also volunteered and supported the event. The students enthusiastically raised patriotic slogans and spread the message of love for India among the people along the streets.

The Prabhat Pheri began at the school, proceeded towards Mumbai Central Bus Depot, returned via Nagpada Signal, and concluded at the school. We sincerely thank the Nagpada Police for escorting the procession and ensuring its safe and smooth conduct.

It was a memorable celebration of patriotism, unity and the indomitable spirit of our students.
