Investiture Ceremony 2026

 29th January 2026
On 29th January 2029, St. Anthony’s High School held its Investiture Ceremony, with the theme “Leading Today, Shaping Tomorrow”, to formally appoint the newly elected student cabinet members. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Hugo D’Souza, a distinguished professional Master of Ceremonies with over 25 years of experience and more than 3,500 live shows to his credit.
The day commenced with a solemn prayer service and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising wisdom, guidance, and the beginning of a new journey. During the prayer service, a special tribute was paid to the Late Mr. Ajit Pawar, Ex-Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. A moment of silence was observed in his honour, and his photograph was reverently garlanded, reflecting the school community’s respect and gratitude.
The ceremony was conducted with great dignity, emphasizing the values of leadership, responsibility, and service that the student leaders are expected to uphold. The newly elected student cabinet members then took their oaths of office, pledging to lead with integrity, dedication, and a commitment to the school’s values. One student expressed, “We pledge to lead with honesty and dedication, keeping the school’s best interests at heart.”
Mr. Hugo D’Souza addressed the gathering, inspiring students, parents, and teachers alike. He remarked, “True leadership is not about authority; it is about responsibility, empathy, and guiding others with courage and conviction.”
The Principal, Sr. Suman Minezes, delivered an inspiring address, motivating everyone to strive for excellence, teamwork, and positive influence, while reminding the students that leadership is about setting examples and serving others.
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and optimism, marking the beginning of a promising journey for the new student leaders, perfectly aligned with the day’s theme: “Leading Today, Shaping Tomorrow.”
