St.
Anthony’s High School celebrated its Annual Day on 12th December 2025 with
great joy and grandeur. The theme for the year, “Christmas – In Love and in
Action,” was beautifully reflected throughout the programme.
The
celebration began with the energetic beats of the school band, followed by the pinning
of favours to the Chief Guest Dr. Vaishali Veer (E.I. – Secondary Section), the
Guest of Honour Mr. Muhammad Irfan Shah (E.I. – Primary Section), and the
special invitee Ms. Thakur Umaymah, the School Topper of 2025. The Head Girl
and her cabinet escorted the guests through a dignified Guard of Honour, warmly
applauded by the parents.
The
programme continued with the National Anthem played by student flautists, the lighting
of the lamp, a graceful prayer dance, and a melodious welcome song by the
school choir. The KG students delighted the audience with a charming
nature-themed dance, followed by confident performances by the Primary and
Middle School students, which included group dances, cultural presentations,
and creative items. The Primary students introduced their own performances,
showcasing the school’s focus on communication and confidence. The anchoring
team handled the event with poise and enthusiasm.
Midway
through the programme, the School Report was presented through a PowerPoint
display on the LED screen, highlighting the academic achievements,
co-curricular activities, and overall progress of the school during the year.
The
highlight of the evening was a musical skit based on the Annual Day theme,
linking the message of Christmas through love and action, which deeply touched
the audience. A dynamic karate performance added excitement to the celebration.
The
Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and Ms. Thakur Umaymah addressed the gathering,
appreciating the students, teachers, and management for the excellent
performances and holistic education. Our Manager and Principal, Sr. Suman
Minezes, also shared inspiring messages. The dignitaries then felicitated
meritorious students with scholarships and certificates for academic
excellence, good conduct, and general proficiency.
The
programme concluded on a proud and joyful note with the school anthem sung by
the choir, marking a memorable Annual Day celebration.
