Learning Beyond the Classroom to Inspire, Engage, and Empower

On 22nd August 2025, students of St. Anthony's High School went on an enriching field trip that beautifully combined learning with fun and exploration.

The day began with a screening of the inspiring movie Sitaare Zameen Par, which shed light on the lives of special children and how, with understanding and support, they can overcome challenges and shine in their own unique ways. The film encouraged students to develop empathy and to appreciate the hidden potential in every individual.

Following the movie, the students visited Decathlon at R-City Mall, Ghatkopar. As the renowned French sports company prepares to celebrate 50 years next year, the Decathlon staff gave the students a warm welcome and an engaging tour of the store. They were introduced to a wide range of sports equipment and activities, with detailed explanations and live demonstrations — including the setting up of a tent, which particularly fascinated the students.

The entire experience was informative, interactive, and thoroughly enjoyable. It gave students new perspectives — both emotionally and physically — on inclusion, sports, and teamwork.

This field trip was a memorable outing that left the students inspired, informed, and full of excitement.
