Marching with Pride: St. Anthony's Phrabat Pheri 2025

 14th August 2025
On the 14th of August 2025, St. Anthony's High School proudly held its annual Phrabat Pheri, despite light showers that graced the city. Under the leadership of our principal, Sr. Suman Minezes, the event was a heartwarming celebration of patriotism and freedom.
Our young students from the Kindergarten and Primary sections dressed up as freedom fighters, bringing history to life with their vibrant costumes. The Secondary students also participated with great enthusiasm, making the procession a true representation of unity and pride.
The Phrabat Pheri commenced from the school gate and journeyed all the way to the Mumbai Central Bus Depot and back. As our students chanted slogans of patriotism, the streets were filled with a strong sense of national pride. Passers-by, commuters in buses and taxis, and even motorists couldn't resist joining in the spirit, responding with their own cheers and slogans.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the local police for their unwavering support in ensuring the safety of the procession by dispatching a patrol van. A special thank you also goes out to our dedicated PTA members who volunteered to participate and assist in making this event a success.
The Phrabat Pheri was not just a walk through the streets; it was a powerful display of our shared commitment to the values of freedom, unity, and patriotism. It is an event that we, as a school, will always cherish and look forward to every year.
