School Annual Day: A Celebration of Talent and Excellence

Our school celebrated its Annual Day on 5th December 2024 with grandeur and enthusiasm. The event was graced by our esteemed Chief Guests, Shri Amin Patel, MLA, and Dr. Fr. John Rose S.J., Director at Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mahim. We were also honored to have four distinguished ex-students as Guests of Honour, who have excelled in their respective careers and also our school topper of the year 2023-24, serving as an inspiration to all.

The celebration began with a warm welcome for the guests, marked by the pinning of the school’s signature favors, the rhythmic beats of the school band, and a solemn guard of honor. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolized enlightenment and knowledge. A heartfelt prayer song and a spirited welcome song followed, creating a festive atmosphere. The welcome speech expressed gratitude to the Chief Guests, Guests of Honour, and parents for their presence, while a detailed introduction about the Chief Guests highlighted their significant contributions and achievements.

The program featured mesmerizing dance performances by both primary and secondary students, leaving the audience captivated. A thought-provoking street play on Artificial Intelligence was another highlight, showcasing the creativity and talent of our students. Dr. Fr. John Rose, in his address, lauded the students’ efforts, remarking, “I know much about AI, but today I saw the power of H.I. (Human Intelligence), who are the future of our country.”

Scholarship certificates were awarded to deserving students, celebrating their dedication and accomplishments. The grand finale featured an electrifying dance performance by the students of Std. X, bringing the event to a high-energy close. The program concluded with the Hymn to St. Anthony, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and unity. The Annual Day was a memorable event, showcasing the immense talent, hard work, and creativity of our school community.
