St. Anthony's High School gathered to honor Ms. Amita Coutinho's 25 years of dedicated service with a heartfelt celebration themed "Celebrating with Gratitude - 25 Years of Dedication to Education."
The event began with a special assembly where students, faculty, and staff expressed their appreciation for Ms. Amita's leadership as Supervisor. Rev. Father Arun Simon SJ led a touching Eucharistic celebration, highlighting Ms. Amita's profound impact on the school and invoking divine blessings.
The celebration coincided with Ms. Amita's husband's birthday, adding a personal touch to the occasion. The Staff welcomed Ms. Amita and her family with a special congratulatory song. A felicitation ceremony followed, where she received flowers, a sapling symbolizing growth and renewal, and gift envelopes from the Management and staff.
Manager Sr. Elizabeth Mathai and Principal Sr. Suman delivered speeches honoring Ms. Amita's achievements and expressing gratitude for her invaluable contributions to the school. A surprise cake-cutting ceremony marked Ms. Amita's husband's birthday, adding to the joyous atmosphere. Games, spot prizes, and a sumptuous lunch followed.
