Republic day

Every year we, at St. Anthony’s, reaffirm our loyalty to our country, acknowledging the sacrifices by our unsung heroes, and rededicate ourselves to building a stronger and better India, an India of our dreams, built on the sweat, toil and aspirations of millions of Indians in villages, towns, metros and across the length and breadth of our country.

Republic day program began at 8 am with the flag hoisting by our Chief Guest, Prasad Powale followed by the National anthem sung by our Students.

Sanjana Rane Sports Captain led the school in reciting the Pledge. Student’s spoke about the importance of Republic Day and added to the patriotic fervour with their melodious singing of Hindi and Marathi songs. The Principal Sr. Suman Minezes felicitated the Chief Guest and the Manager Sr. Elizabeth then expressed her views and urged the students to become true citizens of the country, to forget the past and focus on the future. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks and singing of the song ‘We can Achieve’.
