St.
Anthony’s Girl’s High School celebrated Christmas with great fervour and joy on
December 21st, 2019. The school wore a festive look, aesthetically
decorated with red, white and green colours.
A
special assembly was conducted to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. It
commenced with a prayer to the Almighty. The quadrangle reverberated with the
sound of Christmas carols like ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’ , ‘Santa Claus
is coming to Town’ and ‘Gentle Mary’ sung melodiously by the students.
The Primary students narrated the story of birth of Jesus Christ by showcasing a brilliant Tableau and explicated the essence of the festival that is sharing and caring as well as spreading joy and elation just not to our students but also to the neighbouring economically backwords people keeping in mind JPIC (Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation) The ‘Santa Claus’ dressed in all his finery distributed sweets to all. The Manager, Sr. Mary Joseph wished the students and urged them to soak in the spirit of Christmas and spread the message of love and kindness.
