The most awaited day of the year was the school picnic to the Taraporewala Aquarium and Hanging Garden. The school picnic was for the students of the Kindergarten children. The children visited the Taraporewala Aquarium on 23rd February 2019. The Aquarium located at Marine Lines is India’s oldest aquarium and one of city’s main attraction. It is the only aquarium in Mumbai which has more than 100 species of fishes from across the globe. The children were given this exposure to provide them a live experience of the animal kingdom, especially the marine life.
The next place visited was Hanging Garden, the green grass lawn where the students played a few games, the environment was surrounded by greenery and beauty of nature. Every child was given an opportunity to participate and enjoy themselves.
The most enjoyable time was in the play area with swings, slides, merry-go- round and see saw. After a tiring and fun packed morning the students were given refreshments. All the students expressed a desire to revisit the places again. Indeed it was a great day for all the students and teachers, as it strengthened the bond between the students and their teachers. It was a day full of fun and frolic the students seemed excited and enthralled at the end of it and went back home with sweet memories. It was a sound and safe return trip by 1.30p.m. “Cheers”.
