Miss Shaikh Falak Qamar, currently studying in class 10th has been awarded the Student of the Year award by Times NIE. More than 300 top-scorers from schools across Mumbai were felicitated recently during a function of the ‘Times NIE Student of the Year’ award on September 11, 2018. Times NIE in association with Yukti Foundation organised this prestigious event at Yashwant Natya Mandir in Matunga. The awards were presented to students based on their academic performance in class 9. Currently in class 10, these young achievers accepted their trophies. The event which was attended by more than 250 students and their parents, was hosted by actor, anchor and psychotherapist Maninee De Mishra.
Shaikh Falak credits the teaching staff, her mentors and her parents and is full of gratitude and hopes to inspire other Anthonians, make their Alma mater proud!
